Using Karen Stone’s New York Beauty paper pieced patterns, I set the blocks (with a few duplicates) into an original setting using all batik fabrics.  Each fabric is used in only one block.   This quilt never fails to get attention when on display.  

This quilt won First Place in the Art Quilt category at the New York State Quilt Consortium show in 2004.
